Job Description
Responsibilities:
Provide first level technical support and generate ideas to the R&D project for product design solutions and process possibilities and equipment options
Support the product development and verification testing
Support the development of processes and capability testing
Generating prototypes of small dimension and tolerances with basic machining (milling, drilling, turning)
Creating 3d CAD models and 2d technical drawings
Document and report all activities according to the quality system
Collaborate with engineers and production in continuous process improvement projects
Maintain and build up relationships with local vendors
Train and educate operators, technicians and other engineers
Support operator training
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Material Sciences or equivalent
At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in medical device industry
Prior technical experience in Electronics/Manufacturing environment including automation will be an added advantage
Experience working with CAD software (3D modelling and 2D drawings)
Meticulous, responsible, flexible, independent and customer oriented
Experience working in project environment with good problem solving skills
