You will be tasked with the following duties:
● Developing and improving the FEED designs of the firm's plants worldwide to ensure high accuracy
● Providing technical expertise to ensure that all construction designs are in accordance with local and corporate regulations, as well as the agreed documentation
● Working closely with the Engineering team to review and improve on the completed and operational projects
● Overseeing the firm's technical intellectual property and engineering database, such that all content is kept updated and aligned with global codes and policies
● Developing and maintaining the database of product specific design information
● Ensuring that designs of each project are optimized to meet market requirements and client needs
● Providing training and advice to the team with the aim of building the technical expertise within the firm
To be considered, you must meet the following criteria:
● A degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the O&G / Chemicals industry
● Strong technical expertise in relation to FEED design for manufacturing plants and terminals
● Proven track record of designing terminals, both in the conceptual and construction phase
● Demonstrable experience in risk assessment, problem solving and technical writing
● Ability to travel frequently and at short notice
