The successful candidate will be based in Hong Kong to lead a local PRC team in brand-building and strategic marketing for a new mall in Changsha. The incumbent is responsible for a full spectrum of promotional and marketing functions including strategic marketing planning, public and media relations, market research, establishment and marketing of customer loyalty program, advertising & event management as well as production of in-house publication. Business travels to the PRC cities will be required.
Requirements & Experience
Candidates should be university graduates in marketing / communications / advertising or related disciplines with at least 10 years’ relevant experience of dealing with leading luxury, international retail brands, preferably in shopping mall environment with PRC exposure. The ideal candidate should possess strong organization and leadership skills, be resourceful and innovative with excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills in both Chinese (including Putonghua) and English as well as effective mentoring skills to drive the marketing team. Experience in organizing loyalty / entertainment programs / events as well as good connections and PRC media and PR / advertising agencies is preferred.
