Job Description
This organization is a world renowned MNC that has been around for more than five decades. With offices located worldwide, the organization consistently generates revenue of over 800 million USD per year. An ever growing firm with several established offices around the globe, they have been investing heavily into Singapore in order to penetrate into these markets more effectively. Due to business needs, they are seeking a Contracts Manager to join their dynamic team.
 
Your duties include:
● Developing an efficient contracting strategy for the various contractors and projects
● Preparing all procurement related documents and managing the pre-qualification process
● Managing the Tendering and Contracting processes, covering areas such as contracting awards, contract drafting, evaluation and other contractual correspondences
● Administering and reviewing claim documents, resolving disputes and negotiating contract changes
● Managing sourcing and contracting plans during project executions
● Working closely with the Sourcing & Procurement Manager on all project asset contracts
● Informing stakeholders of contractual obligations, managing and following up on contract procedures and costcontrol systems (bank guarantees, claims, backcharges)
● Coordinating activities such as variation orders, delay management, preparation for potential litigation
● Managing the warranty and performance guarantees of project assets
 
In order to be considered, you must meet the following criteria:
● A degree in Quantity Surveying / Law / Business / Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of Contract Management in a similar industry
● Strong commercial awareness and experience of Contract Law, which include drafting contract/specification clauses
● Proven track record in contract negotiations & vendor management
● Excellent expertise in contracts relating to downstream O&G projects
