My client is a well-established yet fast-growing renewable energy project developer which focus on Solar, Wind and Energy storage projects around the world. They are looking to hire an experienced business development manager who is hungry and motivated to grow their Asian business, supports the local technical team and liaises with headquarters in Europe.
Key responsibilities:
- Carrying out business development and sales activities based on the roadmap and strategy agreed with the management
- Manage, establish and grow a network of customers and the current sales pipeline
- Handling of CRM system and tracking of leads, following up new business opportunities
- Supporting existing key clients
- Tracking of project progress and deadlines in close cooperation with the technical team
- Processing of customer complaints together with the technical team
- Planning and preparing presentations and marketing materials
Qualifications and experience required:
- University degree in Business Administration or Electrical Engineering, or related fields
- A minimum of 3 years’ work experience in the area of business development, preferably in the renewable energy industry with strong existing network
- Excellent track record with business development and acquisition activities, as well as client management and relationship management
- Proficient knowledge and skills in the execution and tracking of projects
- Good team player with professional communication skills for internal and external coordination, and ability to work independently when required
- A positive attitude towards work in challenging situations
- Good negotiation skills are essential
- Fluent spoken and written English
